Plan your UPSC preparation around the exam you choose
हिन्दीSeparate the examination, application conditions and study stages before you make a UPSC preparation plan.
Choose the examination first
UPSC conducts different examinations and recruitment processes. Start with the exact examination or post, its current notice and recruitment cycle. A plan made for one examination should not be copied to another without comparing its subjects, stages and conditions.
Find the qualification, age cut-off and any attempt conditions that apply to that examination. Read the required documents and the dates by which qualifications must be held. General advice about UPSC preparation does not establish your eligibility for a particular notice.
Turn the syllabus into a weekly plan
Use the syllabus and exam pattern for the examination you selected. Group the subjects you need to study, identify areas you have already practised, and give weaker topics a specific place in your week. Separate learning a topic from revising it and practising it under time limits.
Review mistakes after a practice session. Note whether an error came from unfamiliar content, interpretation, calculation or time pressure. A mock score is useful feedback about that session; it does not predict selection or replace the authority’s assessment.
Keep preparation and application dates separate
An application closing date, fee deadline, correction window, admit-card release and exam day can be different milestones. Keep the available dates on your Calendar and check which action belongs to each one. Use the latest notice for the same examination when instructions change.
Use Setu for the next action
Compare the available opportunity with your profile, save it to Skollar Board and break the work into manageable application and study tasks. Keep documents ready in Kloud and prepare required upload copies with Docs. When you apply, complete the form on the recruiting authority’s website and retain its acknowledgement.
